One evening in Taipei, I went to the Shilin Night Market. Taipei has several major night markets, and Shilin is probably the biggest. It is spread out over a fairly large area near the Jiantan MRT station, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and food stalls. The diversity of food on offer at the stalls was staggering. The night I was there, it was absolutely packed. I had a hard time getting shots because in many of the streets, people were packed shoulder to shoulder, and in some cases I was simply swept along. This is definitely worth checking out if you are in Taipei, as long as you aren't bothered by crowded.
