The last of my London photos...

I finally had some time over the weekend to process my remaining London photos... Mainly they are some photos taken during a walk around the City, and along the banks of the Thames, on a sunny Sunday when I spent the whole day wandering the city on foot.

Here is the gallery...

While I'm at it, here is a selection of my overall favorite London photos...http://canghuixu.smugmug.com/keyword/london-favorite. And here are all my London galleries...http://canghuixu.smugmug.com/Europe/686937

Some of my favorite photos from this batch...

Leadenhall Market... This is in the City. Like most of the City, it was deserted on the weekend. I would like to get back here sometime when it is busy, it looks quite interesting. It was apparently used in one of the Harry Potter movies, and I can see why, it has a sort of fairyland not quite of this world feel to it...

Another shot of Leadenhall Market...

30 Cannon Street... A very distinctive building...

Guards changing at Whitehall or Westminister or wherever it was... This was taken a few minutes after I was approached by a police officer who made some inquiries about why I was taking pictures, apparently a lot of the buildings around here are sensitive and I had attracted his attention by having such a large lens. We had a long conversation about photography and I hope I conveyed to him that the lens I was using was actually wide angle lens that would not be very useful for detail shots. Frankly I doubt that anyone who had evil intentions would case a location with such a lens that made them so conspicious, there are much less conspicious cameras with good zoom capability that would probably be more useful for discrete photography...
