We just came back from a week in northern California. We spent a few days in Redding before heading to the coast. One of the highlights was our visit to the very interesting Sundial Bridge in the Turtle Bay Exploration Park. This is certainly one of the more remarkable and unusual bridge designs that I have seen. The architect is Santiago Calatrava. The bridge is especially spectacular at night, when it is lit up. It invites comparison to the
Esplanade Riel in Winnipeg< style="font-style: italic;">My Winnipeg) and which by coincidence I saw last year.
Although I also visited during the day, I took most of my shots at night. You can look at some of my
