Some photos of LA and Santa Monica from Topanga State Park, 20D with 70-200 f4 IS

We went for a small hike last weekend, in the late afternoon. We parked at the Los Liones trailhead, off of Sunset close to PCH, and went up into Topanga State Park. I had the 20D along, with the wonderful 70-200 f4 IS, and tried some shots of Century City, LA, and Santa Monica. The results are interesting, but by no means perfect. Overall, there was too much haze to get nice crisp shots of the distant buildings. I don't think it was smog, but rather some moisture in the air. I guess I have to wait for a stretch when we have a few days of Santa Ana winds clearing everything out before I can get the shots I want.
